Qualification details
JPilates has one of the highest levels of face to face tutor training with extensive tutor support and a student forum where you can ask questions, share experiences and remain in touch with your peers.
The qualification is accredited by Active IQ and fully endorsed by CIMSPA.
Level 3 Diploma in Teaching Mat Pilates
What you will learn
• You will learn the full Matwork repertoire, from the Essential levels to the Advanced exercises
• You will understand the many variations and modifications which will allow you to adapt the moves to suit the differing needs and goals of your clients.
• You will acquire the essential teaching skills to
improve your client’s movement quality and deliver a safe and effective Pilates class in any environment.
• You will learn how to analyse postural and address postural issues as well as the implications of working with special populations such as pregnant clients and the older adult.
What you will receive
You will have access to a full range of high quality materials and resources to enhance and further support your learning included are:
• A fully comprehensive, bound manual
• A complete video library of the Matwork exercises
• A video library of mat classes to help develop your teaching skills and personal practise.
• On completion of your training you become a member of JPilates Associates for six months with all the fantastic benefits.
The training is split into three stages with each student’s learning needs taken into consideration with a balance of theory and practical work, individual and group tasks. Assessments are spread over the training and are both written and practical.

Entry requirements
You do not need any previous experience in dance or fitness or any other prerequisites to join the teacher training- just a passion for Pilates! You will be taught all the necessary knowledge and teaching skills to become a confident and proficient Mat Pilates teacher.
