Research has proven that performing Reformer exercises, once a week for 10 weeks results in reduced fall risk and significant improvements in static and dynamic balance, functional mobility and balance self-efficacy.

The low impact nature of the exercise means that it is accessible to all abilities and the resistance provides support and challenge. With increased strength, balance and mobility, independence can be maintained for longer and quality of life improved.

This workshop will deepen and develop your existing knowledge to allow you bring the incredible benefits of the Reformer to older clients, including improving bone density, enhancing balance & gait, decreasing stress and anxiety, increasing strength and mobility.

  • Revision of the various medical conditions commonly associated with ageing, such as osteoporosis, osteoarthritis, nervous system conditions and cardio-respiratory issues.
  • Safe exercise options & variations for older adults
  • Use of props to assist movement and enhance alignment
